Soil Mender Turf-Mate 4-2-3 is a granulated organic lawn food specially formulated to promote soil health and build a natural nutrient base to support your lawn and any other plants. Pasteurized poultry manure and greensand provide “N-P-K” plus trace minerals, and the addition of humate and dry molasses stimulates microbial life, promotes thatch decomposition and encourages the natural processes within the soil that help release locked up nutrients. Turf-mate 4-2-3 produces lawns with consistent, healthy growth rather than “over-chemicaled, nitrogen-dependent” lawns.

Application

For general lawn application, apply Turf-Mate 4-2-3 at a rate of 1 bag per 2000 sq ft (20 lbs per 1000 sq ft). Spreader settings at right are provided as a reference. Application is recommended for spring and early fall but is not restricted to any time of the year (slow release, non-burning). Water in after application. Rate can be doubled for early spring or late fall application, poor soils, or spot treatments.

Flower & Vegetable Beds

For general applications, apply at a rate of 30 lbs per 1000 sq ft. Water or till in.

Potted Plants

Before planting, mix 1 - 2 tablespoons of Turf-Mate 4-2-3 per gallon of potting mix. For maintenance, water in 1 tablespoon of Turf-Mate 4-2-3 every other month.
